He is Her Bacon

Freddie Benson, the technerd boy who saved the girl of his dream's life from a stupid Taco Truck came hobbling down the flight of stairs with his krutches. She notices on the cast that's on his arm have signatures that are from his AV Club geek friends and half of the girls that are in their grade. She slowly shook her head at the sight of all the girls are smiling and giggiling whenever they see him. All of them offered to carry his books and bookbag. She bit the bottom of her lip and couldn't look at that scene any longer. Before she does something stupid, she slams her locker and goes to class. She could've sworn she saw Freddie Benson looking at her before she turned around to leave.

After school was over, Sam grabbed her coat out of her locker and put it on feeling a little chilly. At the time she closed it, she saw the poor, little, injured and invunerable Freddie Benson again. Her best friend wasn't with him this time so she assumed his mother is going to pick him up instead of Spencer. Sam noticed the boy's presence and decided to grace it.

"Well, well, well," She said with a small smirk that's forming on her lips that she had been trying to hide but it failed. "Look who took_ my_ advice."

"Everytime I kiss her, I hear your voice in my head," Freddie admitted and that only made her smirk growing into a full smile.

"You could call me a conscience," She chuckled. It slowly faltered and she became serious to the discussion they are talking. "What have you said to her?"

"After this whole hero thing wears off and she still loves me, we can give it another shot," Freddie answered and that completely made her spirits gone down to the bottomless pit of her stomach. She remembers a time where it's similiar - she once eaten spoiled meat and that gave her an extreme stomach bomb, but nothing beats the awful-tasting and expired chocolate that Missy given her.

"Oh...While the girls were talking to you, I saw she was getting jealous," She wasn't really sure if that was true. She wasn't paying attention to her friend. She was paying attention to the girls' that were flirting with her bacon - uh, to her Freddie. She said to Freddie to see if that if that will get his hopes up because that will be the way to know Carly still has feelings for him.

"She was?" It sounded like a straight forward question to her. She couldn't be able to make out any emotions that she heard or that was hidden in his voice. She continued and didn't let that bother her.

"Yeah," She replied and looked at him in silence just incase if he was going to say something else.

Freddie's eyes looked down and made a small smile that every girl loves. He looks up to her and said. "Maybe there can be a possibility for us that we could try again."

She mentally kicked herself. If she was smarter, she wouldn't have thought of that. She got them not dating each other anymore and she's suddenly putting them back together again. She decides to agree with him and play along just for her bacon - uh, just for Freddie. Bacon is not nearly as good as Freddie. "Maybe."

The two teenagers heard a noise and Freddie got out his cell phone from his pocket. He read the text that was from his mother. "Gotta go," He put it back inside. "See you later, Puckett."

As he was out of the school, she looked back at where he left and mumbled. "Same here, Benson."
